About Lex Gaines

AI engineer with 13+ years in production systems, building agentic platforms and intelligent tooling at enterprise scale.

Enterprise Roots, AI Focus

I've spent the last 13 years building and supporting production systems at companies like Comcast and FreeWheel — national-scale infrastructure, streaming ad-tech pipelines, and the kind of cross-functional problem-solving that comes with enterprise engineering. That foundation shapes how I approach everything I build today.

Now I'm focused full-time on AI. I design multi-agent systems, build MCP server architectures, and develop RAG pipelines — and I ship them with the reliability mindset that comes from years of keeping enterprise systems running. I communicate complex technical work clearly to both engineers and executives, which I've found is just as important as the code itself.

My AI platform, QUASR.ai, connects LLMs to live enterprise data through custom MCP servers, enabling agentic workflows like semantic code search, natural-language data querying, and autonomous operations. I run local inference on dedicated GPU hardware and integrate with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs depending on the task. The detailed work lives at lexg.ai.
